Chairman Corey Stewart endorses and will vote for Frederick

Woodbridge, Virginia (August 18, 2011) – Prince William County Chairman Corey Stewart today endorsed Jeff Frederick for the Republican nomination in the 36th State Senate race:

“Jeff Frederick has been a strong advocate for Prince William County, and has worked closely with county leaders over the years to make our community a better place to live. I strongly encourage Republicans to join me in voting for Jeff in the Tuesday, August 23rd Republican Primary. In the House of Delegates, Jeff stood up for Prince William County residents. He sponsored legislation to keep taxes low, give us more tools to fight illegal immigration in the county and keep more of your transportation tax dollars in Northern Virginia.”

Jeff Frederick added that “Corey Stewart has accomplished a great deal for Prince William County in the past 5 years, and I’m proud to have his endorsement in this race. When I served in the House of Delegates, Corey and I worked together to improve the quality of life for Prince William residents, and I will continue these same policies in the Virginia State Senate.”

Stewart is a resident of the 36th Senatorial District.

The Republican Primary is on Tuesday, August 23rd. The winner will face incumbent Toddy Puller in the November 8th General Election. Prince William County comprises 53% of the registered voters in the 36th State Senate District.
