Map of the (new) 36th District
The 36th Senatorial District runs from close to the Alexandria City line south down the Potomac River through parts of Fairfax, Prince William, and Stafford counties, including the areas of Mt. Vernon, Mason Neck, Occoquan, Woodbridge, Dumfries, Triangle, Quantico, and to Stafford County. These new district lines were approved by the General Assembly on April 28, 2011 and signed by the Governor on April 29, 2011.
