Former Commandant of the Marine Corps endorses Frederick

Quantico, Virginia (November 1, 2011) — Today we are honored and proud to announce that General P.X. Kelley, USMC (ret.), former Marine Corps Commandant, has endorsed former Delegate Jeff Frederick in his bid for the Virginia Senate.

General Kelley released the following statement:

“Jeff Frederick will serve veterans well in the Virginia Senate, and I’m pleased to add my name to his long list of supporters. When in the House of Delegates, Jeff represented Quantico and was a strong pro-defense and especially pro-Marine leader.”

Debate on NewsChannel 8; Toddy a no show

Jeff Frederick appeared on NewsTalk hosted by Bruce DePuyt on NewsChannel 8 yesterday to debate his opponent, Toddy Puller. Unfortunately, Senator Puller was a no show at this last opportunity for voters to compare competing visions for Northern Virginia and to participate in public discourse.

The segment on the 36th district race begins at the 16:13 mark.

National Defense PAC Endorses Jeff Frederick

Washington, DC (October 20, 2011) – Today, NATIONAL DEFENSE PAC announced their endorsement of Jeffrey M. Frederick for election to the Virginia State Senate.

NATIONAL DEFENSE PAC Chairman, Rear Admiral [Ret.] James J. Carey stated, “Jeff Frederick has NATIONAL DEFENSE PAC’s full support for election to the Virginia Senate. He is exactly the kind of leader we want in the Virginia legislature standing up and fighting for our military veterans and today’s young Americans serving in our Armed Forces. He, as a military veteran, understands what it takes to train, fight and win. He also understands the importance of ensuring the decision to commit our military is right before we send our Nation’s most precious asset, our sons and daughters, into harm’s way.”

Jeff was in the U.S. Navy Reserves from ’96-’97, during which he attended Officer Candidate School at NAS Pensacola, and prepared for his primary flight training until an injury ceased his training.

Jeffrey M. Frederick served three terms in the Virginia House of Delegates. He is the first and only Latino ever elected to the Virginia legislature. When elected to the legislature, Jeff was the youngest member of the General Assembly, and when elected chairman, was the youngest state GOP Chief in the nation.

Jeff is active in a number of local and national political organizations, including the Club for Growth; the Republican National Hispanic Assembly; America’s Future Foundation; and the Council for National Policy. He is Chairman of Virginia’s Future PAC.

Jeff also served on the Civilian-Military Council at Marine Corps Base Quantico and is a graduate of the FBI Citizen’s Academy. He has been active with Virginia Citizen’s League, the Masons, and a past member of the board of directors for the National Capitol Area Chrysalis/Emmaus community.
